GPGSL S13 - Team Launch Thread

My helmet is coming soon, just putting the finishing touch to it.

And nice helmet, Daly, looks a bit like Niki Lauda's famous helmet.

WOOOOF! Love the cars! Do a BAR inspired car? with a zipper in the middle =P or as asked, one for me and one for me teammate? =P

Thanks Eric! I've probably designed best helmet for the first time. Proud of it.

Nice helmet, mate. Good thing that it looks different from my one, that I'm going to keep on using from the past two seasons.

I don't think that is possible with this car/mod. It is possible with the nations mod, but not with this one I think. This mod uses one .tga file, and the only thing that can be different on both cars are the rear wings and the number on the front.

AMR's have been predominantly green. I see no reason to change because someone decides to copy us.

What's the issue with 2 or 3 teams having the same base colour? As long as it doesn't end up like with NIO and Andretti in FE...

That's not really an issue but on pictures, mainly at the start with all cars packed up, it can be difficult to find who is who. And, frankly, AMR and MAC green designs look pretty similar. But that's not really an issue as we have quite the same situation in another obscure series with Red Bull and Toro Rosso.

Make the green a bit lighter on MAC car and darker on AMR - problem solved.

FYI the green MAC i painted is simply based on a livery that ran here in Oz, by a team in TCR Australia. Knowing the brief for a MAC design, it was a simple and obvious inspiration to mimic....

The green base colour is that of the Aussie green and gold shade, not the AMR racing green.....

But why should the colour of our car be dictated to us? As with every team in the history of the GPGSL, we are free to use what colour we see fit, as are MAC Racing.
