my mates gp4 has the crowd taking photo's in it, yet i have enabled it in my config ini but it still won't work

any suggestions?

Same with me. It's enabled but doesn't work.

But I downloaded a config file once and it worked, but I couldn't see why!

Believe it or not, make sure T.V.Overlays is set to 1 in the graphics config. A zero setting kills it.....

Very clever. TV overlays is the answer BUT how do you keep the nice flashes but kill off the speedo and TV stuff (especially as we already use GPxPatch)?

As I recall, when I set up my graphics within the game, I deselected arcade and tv overlays as part of the setup before I saved it, exited and changed the graphics config to a 1 setting telling the game to use the graphics config file. Then I enabled flashes and overlays in the file. On my replays I only see the gpx info I ask for.
