LE MANS

This might be of interest for all of you who love endurance races: I tested today 253 laps on the wonderful Petit Sarthe track made by drt01 and the test was successful.
The race lasted 7hours and 58 minutes. The cars ran 1.755 km at an average speed of 220.8 kph. 14 of 22 survived, the last one with a gap of 18 laps to the winner. Best lap was 1:50.8.
To achieve that goal I set the fuel consumption in the MD to 11881 for players car and 11068 for the AI cars and the pitstops to 100% 3 stops at 60, 120 and 180 laps with a window of 5 (via CMagic4 v1.02).
The carset I used was Le Mans 1991 which I already released some time ago.
If someone wants the file I first have to ask drt01 for permission to release this modified MD of his track...

I'm afraid this will not work right now because the cars in the wad have only lod_0 - that means you will only see the selected car in its shape, all others will remain in their original appearance. So I will have to create the lods 1 to 4 (via PANDA file renamer) first.
Then I have to include the tweakdata files (tyrepositions, Onboardcamera and so on) to put that parts in the right place in your GP4 game.
All of this may take some time so please be patient - you will get the wad as soon as its done.

Here is the file of the cars Le Mans 1991, sorrry for the delay. There's only one problem: As I use CSM only I didn't notice so far that the Tweaker doesn't work when I play without. So I couldn't put the cars wheels into the right place - hope you find a solution for that bug - if yes, please let me know.
