Big performance problem - GP4 cars not fast as F1 cars 2018

Posted by TGF1Driver2
Hello guys,

I was testing different performance settings yesterday to try to reach the 1:07:281 min. time of Hamilton's Pole lap in Interlagos on Saturday. Unfortunately it was only possible to reach 1:10:8 min. or something like that with a car power between 1500 and 1600. When using higher car powers then 1700 the cars are only rolling backwards at the start and can't drive anymore for some reason. And also very anoying is the fact that the AI cars are crashing out in some hard breaking corners (for example Reims or Hockenheim 1968) already at car powers between 1450 and 1500, so it is not possible to get the time of Hamilton's Pole lap in GP4 with changing the performance file. hot(N) Maybe increasing the driver power would fix this, but then it's not possible anymore to beat the AI cars as human player. hot(N) Is there any other way to make the cars faster? Thank you.

Hire Hamilton.

Tyre grip in the physics file? Or lower the car weight?

Track grip through track magic data, simple as that. You can also choose softer tyres there etc.
Show with an example where and what exactly you are changing.

hahahaha ;-)

with the physics and performances that will be available before the end of the season, it is possible to beat most of the poles this year. an example? gp of melbourne:

PS: is not tire or track grip, lower car weight & etc. i use the same tracks that all of you use (Y)

I think I simply have to accept that the F1 cars of 2018 are better than mine and Hamilton and Co. are better drivers than I am. It's hopeless. :((N)

Ok, I don't want to change any tire grip or car weight values, so I have to live with being slower than Hamilton. GP4 unfortunately has its limits, and now I have just reached another one of them. :((N)
Remember that it's an old game, not intended for current cars performances. Be happily happy ;-) we can still play it after so many years.

why not change tyregrip from gp4tweaker? tyres are one of the reasons why current cars are faster than ever.
be patient and wait just a little bit longer. I am in final exams in the university and meanwhile have fun with the other excellent work that this community also produces that is from Gitanes ;-)

a video of the adjustment phase .. is not the final product (disregard the low vídeo quality)

did a test with 16 laps of fuel at Interlagos and easily did 1,07,497 on a first lap:
