Hi everyone, after changing monitor and resolution of my pc, when i try to launch from csm it shows some black screen and then crash back to desktop showing this error message.
can someone please help me start the game?

[www.mediafire.com]

Reading the file i have found this:
[15:54:30.227] >> Initialize3DEnvironment(1920 x 1080 TNL:1)
[15:54:30.227] >> Initialize3DEnvironment() - Requested width x height x format NOT FOUND
[15:54:30.227] >> Initialize3DEnvironment(1920 x 1080 TNL:1)
[15:54:30.227] >> Initialize3DEnvironment() - Requested width x height x format found in mode list

can this be the problem? how i fix that?

I'll make a guess here and say it crashes because the resolution listed is not native to the replacement monitor. Delete the cfg file and set the highest res available in-game. See if that works. When GP4 is re-started a new cfg file should be created. Check the current res and see if that works when added to the cfg file. You can edit a cfg file with notepad.

i have try to delete the old cfg, but the game crash anyway.
also i can't even modify anything ingame, because the game crash before the menu.
when i try to start gp4 (only gpxpatch or with csm) it just flashes somethimes a black screen and then go back to desktop with the log error

If it worked before you upgraded the monitor, that has to be the problem. Try different resolutions. A re-install may fix it, can't really say.

maybe there's only missing a driver for the monitor

you only need to search after a driver for your monitor, then install it and that's all. Normally monitors don't need drivers, because they are using the windows standard drivers, but sometimes it's better to install the related drivers for the monitors.

I don't think it's a driver issue.

Just some guesses and hoping it can help :
- Did you try to run the game alone (no CSM, no GPxPatch) ? And did it crash ?
- Did you try to recalibrate the game ? As you changed your monitor and it doesn't work anymore it could be a good thing to do.
- Alternatively, did you change the resolution in your cfg file to match with your TV screen resolution ?

Go. Test. Report.

i have try all of that and anything works
but later i have fixed it, now the game run, but it goes very slow.
i have downloaded the f1graphics from another topic in this forum and somehow just changing the resolution seems to work
now i have to set everything compatible with my pc which is less powerful than the one for which the file was made.

hope that it didn't take me so much time to set everything

thanks to everyone!
