Ace VS Pro ?

Is there a difference in the physics between the various difficulty levels? Going from Pro to Ace, on the same setup, my car has a bit less front grip and a looser rear. And in race spec, the cars are about 1.5sec quicker than in Pro, while my lap times are slower by 0.5sec.

You probably made a few bad laps, thats why you are slower...

I would not be so fast as to say "no". With each level you move up, the CC cars have more bhp than on the lower level. If you click on "power team dependent" in GpxPatch you will notice a difference.

This, however, does only apply to bhp, not in-game physics in general. Still more bhp does affect the handling, that's why you technically need a different setup when you step up in the difficulty-thingymabob.

If you click on "power team dependent" in GpxPatch you will notice a difference.

you won't note it if "power team dependant" was alreadyy checked and u click on it

If power team dependent is not enabled the cars human drivers drive always have 855hp. If it is enabled the cars you drive have as many hp as your performance file says

Yes but there is a difference that has not been mentioned. You actually get a BHP reduction for each level below ace. Only with power team dependant select in Gpxpatch do you get the real amount of power from your car (I think someone mentioned once that you do get the full BHP on pro as well). Also on semi-pro and below there is a slight random element to you BHP. Its not much, but you can feel an odd difference from session to session. So Ace and Pro should be the same handling wise.

Yup. I checked my lap with HofxLapw (i was playing at pro level)
and my HP was 855. So i guess u get less Hp only when u r not at Ace/Pro level
