Why does this helmet look like this? [SOLVED]

I've installed this 2004 helmet from gp4 database. the helmet shape is by arial, which my mod already has.
Can someone tell me why the helmet has that thick black line going across the visor? And how I can fix it please?

Are you talking about the super shiny helmet or the helmet visor.
The shiney helmet is because the alpha channel needs to be darker or the visor that looks like the tga file needs flipping with gp4 biulder.

Hi Munnzy

Is there another version of gp4 builder that can open tga files? I downloaded gp4 builder 2017B but it doesn't seem to read/open tga files.

In the regards to making the alpha channel darker, what program do I need to make those changes?

PhotoShop can read tga files and can also flip the image.
This is what I use when I update the helmets for my GP4.

I think you need to look at Slimtex within zaz tools. you can open and save and flip tga files and tex files also come with EasyWad, lets you drag and drop files into the cars wad.

Yeah thanks, I ended up downloading Photoshop and now I can flip and darken the alpha channel. thanks for your help!
