As far as I know , there are 2 Assetto Corsa MODs for sale in the internet , I bought both MODs and sent emails to the authors asking them permission to convert the cars to GP4 . I am not the only one who asked their permission , unfortunately they refused or , in my case , even didn't reply me . Maybe later in the season this scenario changes but it's impossible to predict anything . Just for fun , I converted the car of F1 Formula Hybrid from Racesimstudio and put on it many different textures made by different authors from Racedepartment . As I don't have permission of anyone , the car will not be shared even in a private way , I'm sorry for that , there are rules and I don't want to bring any legal problem to the site . Let's have some hope anyway .

But if you are not gonna share them, even in private, I would suggest you did not show us at all.

I didn't create this post to show off anyhing , that's the true . Maybe you are right , I should not show if I can't share . However , GP4 doesn't have chance against the world and we have to struggle against that . A Bad WIP MOD was stoled and are in the Ebay for selling , the great modders we had in the past are busy or left the scene , the authors of other racing games don't give permission to anyone of us to convert their cars for FREE which was the way that the works were always shared in the GP4 community , stuff like helmets are there in many other MODs of other racing games ( with or without permission I don't know ) and so on . I fully understand the legal issues involved and just will not overtake the limits . However , something has to be done , after 15 years the GP4 is still the best game but we are lost in an island . The images were published to show to everyone that we can . Maybe I'm a idiot or idealist or both . If people want me to take the pictures out I do it at anytime . Or I can post them at the screenshots posts , really don't know .

Perhaps the Screenshot thread would be the best place for them.
They're great looking cars, and they look to have been well converted.

While in some respects I think that this is true - weather - I think people need to stop throwing this around as a blanket statement.
We can't simulate KERS, DRS or an MGU-H. We can't have a Safety Car, and are limited to grids of 22 cars. The AI, while still fantastic, is now bested by rFactor 2 I believe.
What we have is great, and the community makes it even greater, but GP4 is no longer 'the best'.

First: This game and the community here is the BEST.
2nd: We lost some great Modders, but as we can see, the game is alive. Look at these pics above...great..
I would like to have these cars, but rules are rules - I´m not able to create cars or anything else on my own, so I appreciate the excellent work that was done and released here so far.
So for now, I´m forced to race GP4 with slim cars and scootertyres-or play gp4 in old fashion with cars from 2002 to 2007.
Hopefully we get updated someday here-with legal cars and mods 2017..
Anyway - rracunis did a great job - well done.(Y)(B)

Some textures are looking really great.

Regarding conversion and permission, For your Information RSCT members converted all the cars of ACFL 2017 and improved there and there some textures and/or shapes.
Then we asked the permission to release them.
We could get it but it was conditional at something we could not accept. That's the reason why we didn't release them.
I still hope we could have the permission to release the cars later, but we do not have 100% of the decision in hands.

About my STR and RBR, which are not coming from this source, I do not have time to finalize them, but I should release both soon...

Bernaud , the thread is not mine , any work or conversion I did was possible only because of the knowledge I got from you and Arnaud ( Excalibur ) and I know I can't go so much further like you do , make cars from the scratch . I heard the issue about the cars of ACFL 2017 and this is also the reason because I can't share these cars from racesimstudio which , by the way , are much different than the real F1 cars ( long nose , low rear wing etc ). Hopefully , the permissons will come in the end of the season when the sales drop down and the authors don't care about the conversion to other racing games . I was wondering if I have the right to share the cars as I purchased the license but don't have the proper answer . Anyway , let's hope(Y)

Has the AI in rf2 improved in the last year or so? I've been testing builds as they come out, but the AI don't seem to slipstream properly, it kills the immersion dead knowing I won't be passed by quicker cars...
