Screencasting

Hi everyone,

I came back to this fantastic game after about 5 years.
I watched the other day some great youtube GP4 videos and searched the forum, for the software needed to make them.

I found a topic about Fraps, made the download and installed it but, a 10 second video I made was about 300000kb large.

I then searched the internet and found about 20 diferent software to record video from the screen.
Can anyone advise me on the better software for this?

I like Bandicam.

If your PC is powerful enough, you can compress the video (x264, x265) as you record it, so that it is no larger than a 'normal' video.
If, like me, your PC isn't powerful enough to do that, you can record it uncompressed (MJPEG) and get large files, which you can shrink later with a program like Handbrake.
