I say we should ban Jim Bob right now!!!!

I know that I´ve already asked that, but no one has answered it!!!!
Does FPS affect lap times or not???? If it does, I think we should have a limit of 26 FPS, right????

fcarmoracing
it affects lap times when the PO goes over 100 percent.

it slows the game down and you can put your car anywhere you want on
the track and react to it and **** like that you know.

unfortunatly with me no matter what i do i cant get my po below 110%
average im stuck on a 500 mhz machine... so yeah its crap and thats with
14 fps to

like the new sig?

i dont think po or fps have any effect.
having a high po slows the game down but doesnt give any more reaction tine.
i downloaded th laps and checked them. more than half are done with 1.00, so i sugget that rule is taken out. it has no effect on lap times surely?

btw - according to my calculations Korn_Freak, you are 5th fastest in sector 1, 11th in 2, and 3rd in 3.
so you need to work on sector 2.

Korn_Freak, please put next to the lap times (in your webpage) if they are using Steering Wheel or Keyboard, so that we can make a fair comparison, for example, I can't compare myself with Steering Wheel's drivers (I use keyboard) because they are so much faster than I am.
Another thing, I haven't got 50 posts yet, I think I posted thirty-odd times. So? What happens to me? Can I play anyway???? Or you guys want to read too much posts of me in the next minutes? hehehe

I'm against sigpics

ive finally managed to get a reasonable improvement after ages of trying, im down to 1.14.664 (28.947, 54.755) but ive seen from above that ive been faster in middle and final sectors, but i can never get a complete good lap, if i did that i could get into the 13s maybe, or at least low 14s. it is so frustrating especially when 9 times out of 10 you crash in that 2nd chicane
damn kerbs............

in theory, there is no difference between theory and practice, in practice, there is.

To answer someones question,

You ca nactually SAVE the persons setup, as a setup file, with HOFxLAP. You don't need to figure it out or jot down numbers. Just view their HL data, then go to the file menu and select Save Setup as....

Now, for a question:

Do you guys have basically the same rules as most HL sites ?

Two wheels must stay on at least the curbing at all times.
No changes to the car or tracks from the stock ( like HP increases )
Which aides are allowed ? ( I drive without any turned on, but if TC is allowed, I might use it. )
Why do you require people use a specific performance file. Isn't the defualt one correct ? Does it really matter if a person has theirs set to 2001 levels or all the same ?
What about weather ? If it rains at the real race, do you have a wet run for the next track ?
