Just uploaded a "modder-friendly" version of the original Imola 2001 track. By that I mean all LOD relationships have been broken, so objects can be deleted at will (which was previously a limitation in modding this track). On the other hand, the track loses its ability to correctly calibrate graphics as was its function in the original game.

I also threw a couple minor updates: patched magic data and added GP4Info, moved pole position to the left side of the grid (as it was in reality), and rebuilt a wall on the run to turn 1 which was incorrectly positioned in the original track.

I had started work on a modern layout of Imola which I almost finished, but as it's been three months since I last touched the files I decided to upload them here in the unfinished tracks pool (should've done that earlier, eh)
It's a playable version with 2001 graphics, this is what it looks like: www.youtube.com

To-do list:
- Track banking is incorrect at S/F straight
- A few kerbs are missing
- Some runoff areas need to be updated (left side after S/F line, left side before Tosa and right side after Piratella are the ones I remember)
- Pitlane is bad and needs a lot of work

I had shared these files with another modders already, so you may get good news soon enough.

Wow, looks great
Hi all,

Sorry for this very newbie question, but how do I load one of these Prblanco's tracks into a csm mod? Is it just simply downloading the .dat file and load that into tsm?
basically you just need the WAD and the DAT, load it to TSM and create a tracklist. Then you enable the tracklist in your CSM mod.

Hello, the path is long but only the first time, open CSM, go to Launch TSM/Menage tracks/Create new track/any letter and OK/In name: Enter the name of the track/fill in the other fields with what you find interesting. Below in Phisical files: click on .wad file in the small square on the right, when opening go to the folder where you downloaded the track (in it are the two files wad and dat) and click on the wad file then go to .dat file that is in the same folder. From a save and so you build a simple track to have fun. Then go Manage profiles (left side) will open two screens one which are the slots and below the name of the track(s) click on a slot at the top and double click on the track you want to install. Hope this helps. (google translate)
Added basic .dat for Zandvoort, link :-)

Not as complete as I'd hoped it to be before race week (runoff elevations aren't done for example), but I believe it's a good base nonetheless. Special thanks for gildoorf and Öggo who helped me immensely.

Thanks for this basic work, Prblanco!
Just got word that cars are jumping on pitlane entry, I'll fix that asap so a full race can be run without major issues.
