Problem with Mod 1979

Hi,I have a problem with this mod,the Renault car is bugged and I don't know how to resolve it

I know there's a fix but I can't make it work,I tried to copy/paste and replacing the archives in 1000 different ways but none work

What I exactly need to do to resolve this bug? This mod is wonderful besides being beta but this problem just ruin everything

There is something wrong with the textures. You have to open the cars.wad, search for the Renault texture, convert it to tga with Slimtex and then you can look in a picture editing program if the file is maybe flipped into the wrong direction. Maybe you can upload your cars.wad to mediafire or somewhere else and give me the link, then I will taken a look at the textures.

i thinked that just was a bad installment of the fix,it only contains files with the names of the GPs of this year and I maybe I put them wrong

I don't know how to use those programs so I'll try to upload the cars.wad

Well, I opened your cars.wad and there are only the textures of the original 2001 cars in there. Weird. Is this 1979 mod you are using a CSM mod? If yes I cannot help you. If not I cannot help you either. I'm sorry!

Yes,is a CSM mod and the cars.wad is from the root GP4 game

I just discover that I needed to send the Cars.wad of the mod itself,I'll upload it this time

Yes ok, there might be a texture missing, it should be only one single file, but I'm not sure. Give me a day more to think about that issue.

Well, just download the fixed cars.wad again and put it without opening into the GP4 main directory. Then it should work. If not, the fixed cars.wad is still faulty then. But we will see, so please just try it out.
