Freezing during replays

Hi chaps!
So I recently bought a newer computer to be able to run GP4 on with all the bells and whistles, it looks stunning :) It has a windows 7 64 bit partition all to itself.
Unfortunately it seems to freeze a lot during replays, if I cycle through the drivers or change cameras the picture will freeze and the sound will loop, I have to use task manager to exit to desktop. I have set GPx Patch v4.44 to run as administrator, set CPU to 0, put debug mode on high verbosity, nothing works, not even patching the .exe to use 4gb with cff explorer.
Does anyone have any ideas? Here's my latest log, although as I have to quit to desktop, GPx Patch may not be producing a complete log...

So, after some testing I reproduced my freeze, but this time I used ctrl+shift+alt+end to quit, as advised by Rene in another thread. :)

You know, if I'm honest I thought it was pretty obvious a suggestion, so I kept on running tests ;)
Then I checked, and sure enough my 'set to xp compatibility' for GP4.exe was unchecked!
I can't reproduce the problem now, so thanks for your suggestion, it solved it! ;)

Perhaps it's a bug that could still be squashed, maybe the xp compatibility might not work on all machines?

Hi René, unfortunately I'm still getting these freezes, even with Max track length set to 20km. I appreciate your great efforts so far to eradicate this problem, is there anything you may have missed when looking into it?

I don't think I have any other suggestions, except maybe a way to disable the track marks altogether. I wonder why nobody else has this problem. Does it only occur on certain tracks?

Thanks for your reply, it doesn't happen on a specific track. It just happened twice this morning whilst trying to run a race at Imola. I hit the replay button to review a couple of first lap incidents, and both times it froze when cycling through drivers, changing cams, rewinding etc.

Could it be something to do with where the replay itself is being written to/read from?
I have a whole 100gb partition just for my one installation of GP4 :)

I used to have this problem both in the most recent version of Silverstone and all versions of Sochi, but not only in replay mode - it happened whenever I cycled cameras and always at the end of the lap (last couple of corners)...couldn´t find a way to fix it, so I had to stop using both tracks...

I remember that the problem of tyre mark buffer which caused freezes during replays or accelerated time session was fixed by setting the max.track lenght to 10 kms....

I've tried that though and it doesn't solve the problem unfortunately! :(
It stops freezes during gameplay, but in replays I'm still suffering this issue, no matter what track length is selected..
