Fairly dissapointed by 11th and 15th, even though a good midfield position and possibilty for points!

If you are racing, keep on racing and get some points!

Toyota

We're very happy with our qualifying performance. Mark getting into 3rd is very impressive. Jenson was disappointed to finish 8th but he's confident about fighting his way up the field.

I don't disagree with you there to be honest, especially based on results. As I see it there are 3 options.

1. Reduce the perf points no

2. Scrap it all together

3. keep it the same

Agree with John here. We've no idea what bias strategies each manager is using so which will obviously change things as well.

Very good Schumi! He definitely shows why he is the "rainmeister", shame about Lewis but I'm sure his race pace will make sure he grabs home some good points for the team!

I also agree with John, keeping the current one is good choice.

Pace wise probably not too big, but on a field this close it really makes an effect position wise. I'm using my drivers as a reliable reference here, since I know what I did with them

Using 1 set of data from a possible 11 is not enough to establish a reliable reference, especially when we don't know the driver bias nor each drivers individual perf values.

Besides, we're only two races into the season and it's not as though any manager is at a particular advantage or disadvantage because of this. We're all in the same boat.

well I want to keep it to myself haha. but in my private message at least I got the full driver perf and team perf values
I wouldn't say noone is at a big disadvantage, I'd instead say teams with two great drivers are, since not boosting perfs of one driver will leave both on the midfield or bottom of the points, and if you do it will leave the other driver position wise outside of the points, or maybe scoring a few of them, basically denying any major positive effect of having two great drivers.

2006 Malaysian Grand Prix

Hello and welcome to the Malaysian Grand Prix. Ferrari's Michael Schumacher took pole position yesterday ahead of Renault's Fernando Alonso, can he convert it to his first win of the season or can the reigning champion win it? Lets find out.

5 lights and away we go

Alonso is down the inside into the first corner and takes the lead

Kimi Raikkonen runs wide, dropping a few positions

The field after the opening lap

Nick Heidfeld is off

He drops down to last place

Jarno Trulli runs into the back of Juan-Pablo Montoya, both will need to pit

Glock spins his Mclaren

He drops to 20th

Lewis Hamilton dives down the inside of Kimi Raikkonen and takes 8th

This puts Kimi out of position in the corner and Jenson Button takes advantage down the pit straight

Button is looking racey but he's hit Hamilton attempting a pass!

The Brit spins

Hamilton is off track

The pair drop to 9th and 10th

Montoya, looking to pit after his collision with Trulli, is blocked by Sutil

He spins in the pit entry

The Red Bull driver is really struggling to get the car facing the right way

He gets there eventually but loses a lot of time

Montiero hits the back of Kartikeyan, both will need to pit

Ralf Schumacher has a look down the inside of Fisichella

He's through into 4th

But Fisichella comes back at him and takes the place

Raikkonen spins!

And drops to 19th

Now Montoya spins, he's having a horrible race

He's into the wall!

Probably for the best....

Ralf Schumacher spins

He recovers quickly but is under pressure from Massa

Uh oh! Button's at it again. This time he's hit Coulthard

He's spun it again

David Coulthard is off

Jenson drops to 16th

And Coulthard to 17th

Mark Webber shows his teammate how it's done with a beautiful move down the inside of Michael Schumacher for 2nd

That move could be vital as Fernando Alonso makes a mistake!

The Spaniard rejoins in 12th

Heidfeld is off.....again

Fisichella hits Michael Schumacher whilst looking for the pass

The Italian spins

Schumacher hits him!

Fisichella is out and his car is stuck in the middle of the track....as Ralf Schumacher finds out

Massa and Hamilton are able to get through

Disappointing for Fisi after winning last time out

Michael Schumacher will need to pit

The standings after that drama

Ralf Schumacher makes a move down the inside of Hamilton

And Massa a lap later

He's into 2nd

Button makes a move past Glock for 10th

And Alonso passes Sutil for 8th

Trulli locks up and narrowly avoids hitting Karthikeyan

He gets through eventually

Button is through past Sutil

The standings with 25 laps gone

Alonso dives down the inside of Da Matta

Button tries the same but gets it all wrong

Da Matta is off as a result

And The Brit spins

Da Matta rejoins down in 19th

Speed goes off

As does Coulthard a lap later

He rejoins in 18th

Alonso is through past Sato for 7th

Button looks to pass Trulli

But amazingly manages to pass not just Trulli but Kubica too!

Scott Speed looks to have an issue

He's out of the race

Trulli makes a move down the inside of Kubica

Button looks to get past Glock

And makes it stick

Glock looks to come back at him though down the straight

And is through

The standings after 36 laps

Schumacher has a look down the inside of Sato

He's through for 5th

Alonso has a run on Grosjean

And makes the pass into the first corner

Button looks to pass Glock again

Not this time

Oh No! Grosjean is off

He was looking good for some points too

He's stalled it and is out. What a shame

Button finally gets past Glock

Trulli is through too

Mark Webber still leads

Button makes a move down the inside of Sutil

And is through for 9th

Now Trulli is looking to pass Sutil

And he does

Mark Webber wins! A faultless drive from the Aussie

Massa is 2nd

Hamilton third

Agree here but the benefit of the system is that it allows a lot more variation in results, which therefore keeps every manager interested as they actually have a chance of winning. I'm happy to go with a majority decision on all the rules though

BMW Sauber
The race wasn't really great as we think it would be, Ralf finishing 4th with Nick 13th, another bad luck for the German driver, not the season that he wanted. We're looking forward to the next race.

Super Aguri
It wasn't our best day, Speed had got a transmission problem which costs him, and Karthikeyan almost crashed by Trulli, but he finished ahead to his teammate. As all teams have scored points including us, we're not thinking for a possible points finish this season, but we hope there will be a surprise.

Think this is all that needs to be said about Mark Webber's performance!

Disappointed with Jenson and can only say sorry to the drivers that he managed to hit. We're just glad he managed to recover and get some points. On the flip side though....what an overtake on Trulli and Kubica!!

What a shitty race! David knocked out, the car didn't work after that and Romain, we don't know what happened. He lost positions after his last stop and suddenly the car blocked in the rear.

Toyota, please get your Jenson back in working order! This is ridiculous off course!! ;)

If you are racing, keep on racing and get some points!

Damn it!!! :-(
Alonso was doing great until he made that error.... we were looking on for some solid points for the championship, but no, and again we lost to Ferrari.
Not good.

I'm going to be running the Australian GP on Thursday/Friday. Would you guys like me to keep the driver bias for it? If yes then I'll keep the driver bias from the Malaysian GP unless I receive a change request via pm
