Oh for fu's sake! I really shouldn't be doing this semi heartedly (or headedly). Of course you're right and you all better ignore what I was writing. With a lot of RL distraction, I totally forgot that this was the case. Sorry folks.

I do not intend to take a team-owner-spot. Going too well as a race driver currently, don't want to get back into testers' championship for quite a while.

Btw, can you rename my team to "Repsol Racing" instead of "Repsol Team Prost"?
Welcome to the series dude! Good luck!

Qualifying has been run, and we have our pole sitter. Coverage should hopefully be up by tonight.

GPGSL Rd 14 German GP – Qualifying

Hello and welcome back to Hockenheim. Today, we are going to see who will be taking pole position for the race in what will most likely be an exciting qualifying session. So without further ado, let’s head down to the pits as we get set for the start of the session.

Weather Report

Rodriguez is the first man out to get qualifying underway for the first group of drivers.

He sets the first time of the session.

Moinet, Legge and Kittleson set their times.

Maverick will be slightly disappointed with his first laptime.

Horvath’s time is the slowest of the session so far.

The laptime from Pedersen is good enough to see him slot into 4th.

O’Brien won’t be happy with his time as it’s now the slowest of the session.

Michail slots into the top 5 with her time.

7th for Ancevski. He’ll be hoping for an improvement in his next run.

Keranen comes across the line and slots into 8th.

Greenhalgh is first out for the second group.

That’s a pretty disappointing time for Greenhalgh, who would’ve been hoping for much better in his first run.

Jalving goes into 7th with his time.

Demon Racing showed great pace in the free practice with their test drivers, now they hope to repeat that in qualifying. Thomas is the first of the two Demon drivers to set his time.

Nell is next, and get extremely close to taking provisional pole.

Elleker keeps close to his championship rival by slotting into 3rd.

Copeman sets a blistering time to take provisional pole away from Rodriguez.

Sanvitale sets his laptime, and he’ll be pretty disappointed with how it went.

Kederer sets his time, which sees the Shadow driver slot into 8th.

Warrington sets his time, and goes faster than his teammate.

This session just isn’t working out for SCR, as Worseling finds himself in 19th after setting his time.

De Bruyker goes 5th fastest.

Here’s how the standings look after both groups have finished their first run.

Michail improves on her previous time, but it’s not enough to move her from 11th.

O’Brien improves his time, and moves up to 16th. It’s going to be a tough race for him for sure.

A much better run from Moinet sees the JHR driver move up into 6th.

Maverick improves up to 9th, but with his closest championship rivals ahead of him, he probably won’t be happy with his position.

Ancevski improves, and it’s a huge improvement. He now has provisional pole.

An improvement for Keranen now sees him in 11th.

Rodriguez improves his time, but stays in 3rd.

Onto the second group now, and Greenhalgh will be much happier with how his lap went.

Jalving meanwhile manages to go faster than Greenhalgh.

Thomas is unable to match the pace of his teammate, and will find himself starting near the rear of the field.

6th for Kederer after the Shadow driver improves on his previous time.

Copeman tries his best to retake provisional pole, but he is unable to do so.

Sanvitale improves and ensures he won’t be starting from the last row of the grid.

The improvement for Worseling isn’t enough for the SCR driver to move up from the last row.

Pedersen improves and moves up into the top 10.

Here are the final standings after all drivers have finished both of their runs.

The session is finally over, and we have our pole sitter. Congratulations Milos Ancevski and Team Shadow on taking pole for the race. It’s Ancevski’s first pole of his career, and he’ll be very pleased about it. As for our championship contenders, Nell has the advantage and he’ll be looking to capitalise on his rivals. What will we expect to see during the race? All questions will be answered throughout the coverage, so be sure to join us tomorrow for the race. So until then, it’s goodbye from Hockenheim.

Terrible session for both myself and Worseling. Going to need a lot of luck to go our way in the race if we are to have any chances of scoring points.
