*wonders if it is Qantas and McDonald's*

I remember, that was my best season by far, I think I was like, 6th overall in the test standings. Still haven't won a race yet...;)

I've enjoyed this season immensely, but I was certainly going leave the series at the end of the season if I never got my team. Circumstances were such that I did, and I figured "yeah, I can do this for one more season"...I guess things changed a bit!

Funnily enough, this has been my favourite season so far; Maikel's got the patience of a saint to put up with the @#$%& he's had to over the past five or six seasons, and I hope I can get some good results as a leaving present.

I urge anyone with free seats to pick up Chris, Josh and Nata when he returns.

GPGSL S10 R15 Belgian Grand Prix - Spa-Francorchamps

Race Day

After the GPGSL feeder series, F1, held their race yesterday, comes the main event, the GPGSL Belgian Grand Prix.

The cars line up to take the start.

And they are away!

De Bruyker takes an early lead in his home Grand Prix.

But he is overtaken by pole sitter Jalving at the end of the Kemmel Straight.

Giovanna Michail battles it out at the back.

De Bruyker is not letting Jalving get away.

Legge shoves Nell out of the way.

De Bruyker takes fastest lap on lap 1.

The two Shadows sit in 3rd and 4th.

Standings on lap 2.

De Bruyker makes a mistake and loses time to the leader.

Fastest lap to Jalving.

Fight for 15th.

De Bruyker sets fastest lap.

And attacks Jalving for the lead.

Ancevski pulls out from 3rd in the race with a loose wheel.

Sanvitale is causing a queue to build up behind him.

Standings on lap 5.

Rodríguez runs wide at Eau Rouge and nearly takes out O'Brien.

Nell takes 5th from Legge.

The rain is really patchy, some parts are much wetter than others.

Sanvitale has an off.

Missed by the cameras, Nell has passed Kittleson for 4th.

Sanvitale takes far too much curb at Eau Rouge and is thrown onto two wheels.

He is then hit from behind by Greenhalgh.

Both Sanvitale and Greenhalgh are out of the race.

Keranen also pulls off the track with a broken throttle.

Stay tuned for part two.

Somehow almost in the points already, hope we won't be one of the remaining drivers to retire.
DAMN!! i missed the activity i am so sorry!!

my dad is sick, i havent really been myself lately.... :(
Entertaining race so far, seems it is all about making it to the chequered flag this time

used to be GPGSL's Nick Heidfeld
All seemingly good start in the race so far. So many changes for next season. A time of turmoil for the GPGSL but hopefully we can come out the other side intact.

Race Day - Part Two

You rejoin us here at Spa on lap 10 and the pit stops have begun.

Jalving stops for wet tyres, but is held up as Maverick comes in for his new rubber.

Many more take on wets.

It's almost deja-vu with Kederer and Thomas a la Sanvitale/Greenhalgh.

Confirmation that Kederer is out of the race.

Rodríguez runs wide on his slicks and we have yet another retirement.

De Bruyker is in from the lead of the race for his wets.

Moinet retires with transmission failure.

Standings at half distance.

O'Brien pulls off with a broken engine.

Thomas is on extreme wets, have all the other stoppers changed too soon?

Those who haven't stopped yet, also fit on extreme wets.

If the rain gets worse, this could turn the race upside down.

Kittleson on extremes behind Legge on wets, let's see who is on the right tyre.

Looks like Kittleson made the wrong choice, as he has already lost a place to Maverick on wets.

Even worse he's hit the wall and retired.

Seven and a bit laps to go and de Bruyker is enjoying a healthy lead over Jalving.

The rain seems to be getting worse.

With 5 laps to go, Michail is catching Worseling quite rapidly.

5 laps remaining and Jalving has headed for the pits!

Extreme wets being fitted.

Maverick also.

And Copeman

De Bruyker has elected to brave it out on the wets, is he right?

Looks like it was Michail's pace on the extremes that prompted some to swap.

Jalving now in 5th with 4 laps left. Pedersen is also quitely making his way up the field.

Pedersen now takes 3rd.

Legge tries to fight back, but has less grip than Pedersen.

Thomas powers by Worseling.

Worseling and Warrington make a mistake at Eau Rouge

Pedersen has caught Nell and passes him for 2nd.

But Nell hits Pedersen in the rear due to lack of grip under braking.

As a result, Jalving takes 2nd.

Michail has taken over three and half tenths out of Elleker in one sector alone.

Thomas takes two cars at once.

Pedersen makes a mistake, but gets away with it.

Copeman is flying, he's passed Copeman now.

Then promptly drives off the track.

Jalving is catching de Bruyker by about 4 seconds per sector, will he have enough time to win the race?

Nell has already been passed by Maverick, he is now under pressure from Michail.

Maverick takes Legge.

Jalving is just over 2.5 seconds behind de Bruyker, it's just a matter of time now, surely?

Start of the last lap and Jalving takes the lead!

Oh no! More controversy! Thomas takes a pit stop on the last lap.

Warrington also retires with a sick engine.

Last lap.

Charrel Jalving wins the Belian Grand Prix!

Markus de Bruyker hangs on for 2nd.

Michael Pedersen takes 3rd.

John Maverick will be pleased with 4th place, I'm sure.

Giovanna Michail with a storming drive from the back row to 5th.

Jake Legge maybe a little disappointed with 6th.

Chris Copeman just pips Sebastian Nell for 7th place.

Jack Elleker finishes in 9th position.

Daniel Thomas finishes in the 10th place he was in when he went for his late pit stop, so no controversy after all.

11th place for Norbert Horváth.

Congratulations to Charrel Jalving and MPR-Lancia, winners of the GPGSL Belgian Grand Prix.

Tricky day, and I lost that final set of tyres during the yellow flag. 6th is decent considering.

Time to flip the table retiring on the last lap.
Throttle problems would explain how the car had absolutely no speed in it at all this weekend. Amazing to have double boost, be at the back and still nothing.
Blown engine and crash damage for myself and Worseling. Not the best weekend for SCR, so hopefully we can do much better in the next round.
