Thanks Tom.
The size of the wad is mainly due at the size of some textures and mainly at the textures of the HR pitlane.
That was also the case with the Red Bull Ring 2015, which already included the HR pitlane. As I didn't get any Feedback about a high PO with this track, I let them like that for Sotchi.
If you want to decrease the size of them, as you know, you can use Slimtex which will do it easily and quickly.
I could decrease the polycount, but it would mean to remove some buildings (I already decreased dramatically their polycount), or the HR pitlane.... Sorry, but both consumed me a lot of time, so I don't want to do it...
As said Arnaud, despite the huge size of the WADs, The Red Bull Ring and Sotchi are loading quickly and I don't notice a higher PO than others tracks.
More, they are loading faster than other tracks with a much smaller Wad . Do not ask me why... I don't know the reason
For the .env.env file.... it's a new kind of environment file. It multiplies by 2 the environment effects and improve a lot the visual eff..... Nah, I am a liar....
It is definitively a mistake, but it looks like to not cause any issue. At least for me.
@ tamburello, glad it's now OK for you also
@ all, Thanks a lot for your nice comments
