sound crackling

when i race GP4, the sound crackles... it only ever happens when im in helmet view in the cockpit... ive tried reducing sound acceleration on the computer... and it still persisted..

any ideas?

Good budget: Buy a soundcard / new soundcard!
Bad Budget: Ignore it

would help if u tell us what sound card u have

i have it on some outside views, and not the cockpit view. Its definatly a GP4 bug cos i get it on both my sound cards exactly the same even with different drivers

i have an Avance AC'97 Audio, if that means much.. its a 5.1 sound card..

but it cannot be a card problem, as its ONLY in that one view, and all other games are perfect...


only other thing is.. mp3's sometimes stutter in media player :s

try turning down the sample rate accelaration, i did that and it gave me more fps and clearer sound.

i tired down the sound acceleration and altho i got 5 more fps the sound bugged me so much, it was terrible

Dont turn down the hardware acceleration just the sample one or what ever its called.

now when i left the track to practise on monaco, the engine died each time i left the pits... LOL
