Gp4 Patch

When i try to install the 9.6 patch for GP4 its says that it is already updated. I reinstalled GP4 and tried it again and it said the same thing, can anyone help??

Use windows regedit. You can run regedit from Run command in Start menu. Just type regedit, then foolow these procedures:

1) Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE section;
2) Expand Software sub-section;
3) Find an item called Infogrames;
4) Right-click on this item and choose "Rename";
5) Rename whatever you like, or just "_Infogrames_";
6) Close regedit and restart your computer (if necessary);
7) Install original GP4, then install the patch.
8) Hope the sun still shining...

yep, or even better, instead of renaming the infogrames (when i think it will be atari in some days...arrrgg) folder, just delete it, works teh same and you will have a cleaner registry

You are expert, Lauri. You may delete it.
I'm still rookie and fear enough to delete registry keys by myself.
