Translation Help

Guys, I need help for translating these words into languages supported by GP4 (English, French, Deutch, Italian, and Spanish). These words would be used for my current GP4 Tweaker project. Feel free to post your opinions, and I'll appreciate for any helps.

The translated words should be meet these conditions:
1) As short as possible but meaningful.
2) Not specific to any etnic language/dialect/slank.
3) Extended characters allowed as supported by GP4 font system.
4) No dirty words.

The words that need to translated as follows:

1) "Wait for your turn"
This message shown when players restricted to leave the pit (qualifying session) until they are given a permission.

2) "Player turn now"
This message shown at the time player controlled car (qualfying session) should take their turn for qualifying laps.

3) "Timeout n seconds"
This message shown together with point number #2 indicating the remaining seconds player controlled car should leave the pit, otherwise disqualified. FIA 2003 qualification regulation for preparation remaining time before leave the pit is 30 seconds after previous runner meet the specific conditions.

4) "No more turn"
This message shown when player controlled car whose already take qualifying laps want to leave the pit. This message also shown if player controlled car want to leave the pit in the status of disqualified.

5) "Next turn:"
This message shown followed by driver name indicating next car/driver whose prepared for taking qualifying laps.

Please don't ask me for any additional supported languages. Don't ask me for additional new words not listed above. And don't ask me for the purpose of these translations 'cos you know already.

You just have to ask. Did you ever saw i wrote the french Gpxpatch documentation ?

Well here ar my answers:

1) "Attendez votre tour"
2) "C'est votre tour" or "Allez-y"more familiar = go ahead)
3) "Il vous reste n secondes"
4) "Qualifs terminées"
5) "Prochain départ:"

But some might maybe be better, i have few knowledge on real 2003 qualifications procedures...

German

It's a bit tricky, since we make a difference between "Sie" und "du". The first is "you" if you are talking to strangers or in a formal context. "Du" is used for friends, family and to all with whom you have sealed your friendship with a drink (or two). Some people are easy with whom they call "du", some are not. I, for example, don't like that EA says "du" to me in their manuals. It sounds as if they were treating me like a little kid

If you ask me, I wouldn't translate the messages into German at all. Over here we use a lot of English expressions for F1 related things anyway. Take TV timings for example: We have"intermidiate 1" and "intermidiate 2" as well. Some games try to do something good for us Germans and translated it to "Zwischenzeit" which looked a bit odd.

The Jackie's translation was also good too, perhaps I can hack GP4 a bit to support more additional languages. How about Klingon?

How about anyone else, any suggestions? I also need a good English translation, especially in English-UK dialect, not English-US as I usually used.

to get english uk, just change ure spell checker to uk not us

Allthough the English language is better for this stuff...here are my translations for the Dutch language.

Speler nu aan de beurt

Yes I'm German Your German translation is very good. Maybe we/you could improve "Keine weiteren Runden!" into "Keine weiteren Runden mehr möglich" or something like this, because I don't know if it's for anybody clear. What do you think about this (but I haven't a better translation, yet)?
