No driver boost+no team boost means that Gilson is going to have to hope for a lot of luck if he is to win the drivers title. This may be the time where both Cartwright and Jalving will need to help out their teammates in any way possible.

DMR Team Boss fronted the assembled media scrum, where the following release was distributed.

It is with great excitement, we at Demon Racing welcome to the team Mathieu Briere. The Canadian speedster, Mathieu is well known in the racing community, particularly the GPGNC after coming off a stunning race win in the most recent event, the timing couldn't be better to announce the signing of Mathieu as a test driver for Demon Racing in Season 10.

Mathieu already has been to the teams HQ for a seat fitting and was present when his name was slapped onto the side of one of the Season 10 chassis.

Well known to many in the GP4 world, Mathieu will be a great asset to the team, and series overall. Welcome to GPGSL, and to a long prosperous driving career with Demon Racing.

Questions were fired at the team boss, but a simple statement was all that was uttered : "Mathieu is a proven race winner, and even though he comes to GPGSL as a rookie, we are confident both the team and he as a driver, can flourish in this long term deal we have laid out. We can't wait to get Mathieu strapped into the car for some off season testing once this current Silverstone round is over. We might even hang around for a private test afterwards....
