G27 is the worst wheel for GP 4 NOT REALLY just depends what mod you're using

Feels bloody terrible.

How do you set this wheel up to be workable and feel right in GP4?

Really struggling with it.

Feels amazing in all other driving sims except this one.

I can't drive with the 2013 mod.
Car is like a piece of ice.

The tracks must need magic data or something.

Struggling to keep the car on the track in third gear going into that fast left hand corner after the palm trees.

Any faster and the car handles like a truck.

What's the sense of an extra topic for this? You wrote exactly the same in another G27 thread already and as Mal (mortal) said correctly, we got it that you're not satisfied with the wheel in combination with GP4. If somebody has a solution for you, they will as much get back to you in the other thread than they'd do here.

Installing the 2006 mod fixed my G27 woes.

Can I ask what version of the 2013 Mod you are using? It should say in the CSM main menu or the ReadMe file. It should be "Release 7"?

The physics of the 2013 Mod is close to the stock 2001 GP4 physics. I didn't change much at all so I would question why you seem to be finding it so hard to drive on that mod as opposed to the 2006 Mod.

I think it's me.

Driving around Melbourne and the absolute best I can do is 1.33.

Other cars are smashing me around the track no matter what wings/gear ratios I use.

Lower wings make me go slower down the straights.

Other cars are 4 seconds quicker.

I tighten the springs to get more handling but that makes the car feel like a truck.



I want to be able to flatten the gas coming out of the last corner but I have to slow down in 2nd.

Losing time there.

I'm not technically minded so I will never get how to set up a car sobs.
