thrust

hey there.. just wondered if anyone can help me out here
im using the thrustmaster dual power gamepad to play GP4.. great pad
but the thrustmapper software just creates all sorts of probs on win XP and with GP4 its worse.. anyone know of some other mapping software at all
also with that pad i cant update the game to 9.6 coz the pad isnt totally recognised on both joysticks.. just the one.. i use the right for throttle brake etc and left for steering....
anyways id appreciate some help if possible..
not to forget the last bit here..GP rocks big time
i tohught GP3 was good.. but ****.. 4 is just amazing..
shame theres not more carsets yet.. from the 80,s - 90,s etc.. and more tracks.. but there ya go.. still a great game....
