ZAZ tools doesn't load 2013 mod - SOLVED ;-)

Am I using the right mod?


The 2013 mod torrent is only 56 megabytes when downloaded.

Maybe this is an update and not the full mod?

There is also a version of GP4 that is updated to 2013 available from GP4 Central for people who don't use CSM. Look for the 2013 Laptop Game version, it's in the mods section.

And yes that is the full mod, the GP4 Central CSM Mods are very well packaged

Yes.

Is it because I have no track profile?

No. Your problem is ZaZ Tools / CSM. The mod is fine and your GP4 installation seems OK as well since it works on its own.

CSM does produce some logs which might shed some light on your problem. Have a look in your ZaZ Tools folder (in Program Files probably) and post them here.

No logs unfortunately.

Shut down and restarted PC.

Problem remains.

The mod is listed and all the settings are there.

There isn't a driver listing though in the mod.

I don't have the mod, so I can't say exactly what is in it or not. In one of the mod folders there should be a performance.txt file, that has to be loaded into gpx I would think. If there is no performance file, you have to find one. Anyway, Tom would know about the perf for sure.

It's there.

In the carset manager.ini in Zaz gp4 tools/settings it says in the list carset loaded=false.

I changed it to True.

Didn't fix the problem.

But it didn't restore so I had to change the performance file and the 2013 drivers list showed up in game but not their pictures or cars.

I reckon it's the repacked version of zaztools that is the problem.

Ok deleted repacked zaztools,used Ccleaner to get rid of old zaz tools files,installed the original version,and reinstalled the 2013 mod again.

I'm now not getting the GPX GP4 error message but the mod doesn't load and I still have the vanilla GP4 but with the 2013 drivers names next to the old driver pictures and the old driver cars.

Uninstalled gp4 central GPX patch in the repacked game and installed the latest version of gpxPatch.

2013 mod still not loading.


PLEASE (begging on hands and knees) could we have a 2013 mod installable desktop version of GP4?

I just can't get this working at all.

GUTTED.

I just loaded the 2006 mod which takes a long time to install but THAT DOESN'T LOAD when clicking start either!

Why don't they load???????

The green loading bar doesn't do anything,GP4 just starts and loads the vanilla game even with the two mods and everything listed.

The program doesn't seem to associate with the files as they are white in the directory.

The track files show up as usual with the red T.

The CUH files are white when they should be blue.

It seems like ZAZ Tools is ignoring these files on startup because it can't recognise them even though they installed OK.

HELP.

THEY JUST WILL NOT LOAD.


Tried selecting/deselecting the file associations in the CSM settings but to no avail.

Nothing I do will load the mods.

Have you tried replacing the cars.wad with a clean wad? If that does not work, install the latest version of Team Viewer and send me a pm after 7pm tonight AEST with your ID and session pwd.

Try the original version of ZaZ Tools (i.e. not my repacked version). It's available on the same page as the repacked version.

I did that already.

I'm not getting the error message but the result is the same.

I know zaz tools has a bar that loads up with green as it loads the mod up but it's not happening here.

Going to reinstall game again.
