how do i "unlock" the carshape so that i don't keep getting the "couldn't find blah.tga ? (yes they are in the same folder)

erm, u open the gp4 shape then save it as a .gp4 and its unlocked

you shouldn't need to unlock anything.
load car in gp4 genuius. click textures. if it says *can't find blah.tga* that means the .tga assocciated with the gp4 shape you are opening doesn't exist.
make sure your .tga (not tex) files are named as the *cant find* message says.
if it says 'File not found - BAR_01.tga' then your tga files should be called BAR_01.tga.

got it working now but i have to flip and miror my images before they are in the right places on the car

ok its some setting im my norton internet security 2003 that doesn't like his banner..disabled it and refreshed and voila...BLUE BANNER

sorted it..in the built in ad blocker it didn't like anything that said "banner" in the title..removed it and once again ..voila
