would it be possible to include an export to savegame, as well as gamestate.sav, mainl for the camera positions of course ?

Yep, it can maybe be done. But if i never made it, it's simply because some leagues are using fixed camset and check it for lap validations.
Giving the opportunity to edit savegames could give some cheating options to gamers.
Any comment on this from league managers ?

Hmn, have you checked changed files with hofxlap by sdi?

Think hofxlap will show changed cams if not ask sdi to implement it to hofxlap.

I cant even get camediitor to open.
It locks up my computer

allright thanks for the info, the main reason i asked is because i wanted to change the onboard cameras mid season. well i actually found you can anyway, i saved my game after the end of a race then loaded new onboard camera settings, then loaded my season save game and the new camera settings still worked, so i guess the save game only includes the cameras if saved mid race.

to SchimmyMike: Because TyreEditor has no 3D Viewport and in fact, tyreeditor will become one of the tab of cameditor wich will become more than just a camera editor and no, i havn't ask SDI about it because SDI has far too many things to do before this

to Korn_freak: are you using win 98 and/or GP4 1.00. If yes Go to the flashy rims thread for some answers. Else, was any older cameditor version working on your computer, or is it the first version crashing at start ? Thanks

OK lo2k I updated Gp4 to version 1.02

but did nothing. My computer freezes when I load camedit. I cant even get
into the program itself!!

Oh and this is the first time i loaded cameditor on my pc

Well, you' re maybe using a "special" version of GP4 wich isn't reg GP4 in windows registry.
Usually cameditor might ask you the real GP4 path but i discovered lately that in some cases it doesn't, it's maybe your case.
i will have a look before v4.9 release.

Hmm, i was also thinking about a local trouble with your computer it's a very long time i never heard about a total impossibility to launch CamEditor.

Anyhow, the new 4.9 version has been released and i hope this time it works correctly (but your problem might not been correct if it comes from your comp of course).

And where does crash GP4.exe ?
What GP4.exe version ?
What's your GP4.exe size (in bytes) ?

I think I was using 4.8x (Downloaded yesterday)
The game will always crash when loading a track
EXE is the correct "decrypted" exe and i use GP4 9.6
I just saw cam edit 4.9, in d/ls section. Hope it will solve this bug
