TexResizer 3.1

How do i actually turn 2048 by 2048 textures into 1024 by 1024? I'm on a laptop and full size textures are too much.

What am i doing wrong....... open tex file in texresizer, lower tex size as above then save tex file, nothing seems to happen.
Load back into carwad and still fullsize resolution.

I have searched in forums but not a lot to find for texresizer.

Use Slimtex (part of the ZaZ Tools package). It's way easier to resize textures in batches.

When you modify the tex size, you need to right-click on the image of the tex then select "Downsample". After that, then you save the tex file.
