Well this f***s up everything basically. As much as we all admire what SDI has done and did for us with the 2010 graphics, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with them, it's still perfect

This new 2014 Gfx package means that we will once again for years be out of date during gameplay :@

This really really frustrates me as it's an integral part of my gameplay, I know that some maybe even most people won't care, and I know SDI made us the 2010 set and this thread is in no way a demand or a complaint in his direction.

Just wanted to vent a little bit and strike up a conversation with others who may be similarly erked that we finally got the latest GFX set, had it for just under a year and it's immediately out of date.

p.s. mods feel free to move this thread if it's out of place, I was gonna put it in the GP3 section, realised more people talk about this stuff here in the Gp4 section.

Additional - this forum is usually brilliant but, I didn't start this to have a barny/arguement YouTube comments' style, I am NOT complaining about new graphics, NOR am I at SDI or any part of gpxpatch and it's procedures and graphics.

Same here. But i like the new (soon old) layout from SDI so much, that i can live with it for another year or two. after that i guess my virtual career will be over, or sdi maybe made the new layout again. hehe.

Until we see the new graphics, we can't really say how much it will affect us. I am sure someone will come up with an ingenius plan to get around any changes.

Dont underestimate modders and what they can come up with.

I love the TV overlays we have for GP4. If the F1 broadcast shows some new overlay, Im not gonna be all over the walls.

I think someone talented one around here will create or edit something similar with time, no worries

Yeah minimal changes. Rolex logo clashes and looks terrible though.

They must mean "new" in that they've added some new stuff and maybe new information in the races. Not the actual graphics as we were lead to believe by that article hehe. I have to say I'm relieved in Gpx games terms.

PS agreed Rolex looks weird , the driver numbers are cool though

Worth noting the "F" and "D" from F ALONSO AND D RICCIARDO has gone back to the pre 2007 of just the surname - ALONSO RICCIARDO

EDIT: Also little coloured stripes to indicate the team on the timing totem.

Don't wana sound needy but that should be possible to make for GP4 (et gp3) with work obviously.
