@RHill, sure it can be done. You can put pretty much any kind of 3d model in the game, as long as the polycount limit is not exceeded.

Really interested in how this will look from in-cockpit, once someone makes the cockpit shape with this.

Raikkonen said after testing that it doesn't cause too many visibility problems. I assume this is because the driver's field of vision is limited by the visor anyway.

Thanks for that, doesn't look great as I expected but it looks like we just have to get used to it! Interesting to see what happens with sponsors on top of the cockpit as they won't get as much visibility as previously.

Not sure that this is the Mercedes and Ferrari halo which will be used. The Red Bull system will be tested in april: an opened bullet-proof transparent shield, much less intrusive....

BTW, congrats Heikki! Your Ferrari halo is very well designed, as seen to Barcelona!
