My Plaguing Problem in GP4

Now I wanna open this thread because there's something strange on my GP4. My GP4 really crashes to desktop at some point even when doing a 100% race distance in any track, let's say I did a 100% race on Sepang and on a certain lap number the game crashes (maybe at around Lap 30) And now I'm forced to restart GP4 over and over and over again just to alleviate the reemdy. If you want to know what my PC specs are, here it is:

- CPU: Intel Core i3 2100 3.10 GHz
- RAM: 4.00 GB DDR3
- HDD: 500 GB
- OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

Does anyone have an idea why this thing happens to me? I have a clean installation of the game actually. Thanks to whoever's posting here. I appreciate it.

Vanilla box or patched game ?

I think the problem is not the game but the computer. On Windows 7 I have the same problem, but when I'm using a XP Mode I have no problems like that. GP4 and Windows 7 is an explosive mixture which is blowing up sometimes.

Install gpx_patch, set verbosity to high, debug mode on, cpu to 0 and post here the error log. Set gp4.exe compatibility to XP SP2. If the log is too big use pastebin.com
A clean installation would not include Sepang, so your installation is modified in some way. I would like more information please.

Sure mortal, I'll have it once I got the crash log once again. And can you tell me where to locate that error log file you're talking of?
To some of you knowing about my installed GP4 game, it's patched to 9.6.

@mortal - Sepang is in the original game...

I run GP4 on win7-64bit without any problem. Hence my question, and the lack of details regarding his game installation.

Please confirm that gp4.exe compatibility is set to XP SP2/3

1120 x 630? This resolution is being attempted according to the log? Enable the f1graphics.cfg (set line 1 to 1 - see example) and edit to the monitor native resolution.

Multiple texture problems, too many to list.

Update the drivers for the AMD HD5570. (Budget gaming card). The 5670 would have been the better buy, given that the 9600GT beat the 5570 on benchmarks. The 7750-7770 series is now price comparable and is superior. However, the card is not really the issue here, given that the 5570 should run gp4 maxed out. What I'd like to know is some info on your installation as it lists a remastered copy. What is it exactly?

mortal, it's actually a copied installation of my original GP4. And also, I set the resolution manually to 1120X630.
I'll do set the compatibility to XP SP2/SP3 one I run GP4 again. I'll check it later if the log error comes in again.
