Rather unfortunate accident there. Thought I used a boost? Maybe I didn't. :-)

Yeah, that's how I roll ;)

Thanks for that. Hopefully Hinz is ok after going through that rollover. As for me, I was just a innocent bystander. Who knows what laptime I could've set if I didn't get my nose taken off, unless I was coming back to the pits after setting a time. And another thing, which format did the testers use? Last 2 rounds it was the same as the qualifying format for the drivers, for this round I have no idea which format was used.

I made you a new avatar Greg. ;)

Talking to Mal about the logos this morning and I commented on how much I liked the Snake logo..... His comment "I saw uterus....." That would be right Mal. I LOL'd! :-)

Very good qualifying from Chris. You only could have avoided that accident, mate! Those cars are bloody expensive! ;)

Not quite so good for Stu in his first showing. But it was to be expected that he'd need some time to get used to the new car. Better luck next time!

Hopefully Jack and I can make use of the double boosts this time and bring both cars into the front rows. SCR looks very strong this season and we can't afford losing more points on them.

I'll take 10th in practice. A decent enough result for our fledgling team. Hopefully it sets the lads up for qualifying well.

Well, apart from some dirt on the car and a broken nose cone it's still in very good shape it seems

GPGSL S9 R4 South African Grand Prix - Kyalami

Qualifying

After a fantastic day for One Racing yesterday, taking the first two spots on the timesheets, it's time now for the main race drivers to take to the track for qualifying for the South African Grand Prix.

Jake Legge gets the session underway in his Demon.

Norbert Horváth is second onto the track in the TNR.

Naturally, Legge is the first to set a time.

Horváth is nearly half a second down on Legge's time.

Ed Greenhalgh gets close to pole in the MPR.

Team mate Charrel Jalving takes 3rd.

JHR's Eric Moinet soon santhces 3rd from Jalving.

Zsigmond Somogyi makes it a Demon 1 - 5.

Carlos Rodríguez takes 5th from Somogyi.

Maximillian Schieder puts his MAC into 4th place with the same time as Moinet.

Michael Pedersen struggles to match his team mate and posts the slowest time so far.

Chris Warrington puts his VSM into 6th spot.

The GPGSL's head track negotiator puts his TSM in 5th place.

The first set of cars park up in the pits.

AMR's John Maverick is first to try his hand in the second set of cars.

First sector and he is just ahead of Legge's pole time.

A slight improvement in the second sector.

But only 5th fastest at the line.

SCR's Ross Cartwright takes 8th.

Next up is his team mate Joseph Gilson in 9th with the exact same time.

Jack Elleker puts his AMR into the top three.

JHR are having a fantastic start to their debut season as Gareth McCarthy takes 2nd only 5 thousandths of a second off the pole time.

Team Shadow's Tobias Kederer takes pole by the narrowest of margins.

TNR's miserable season continues with Owen Edwards struggling into 14th.

Dominic Brunner barely breaks into the top ten.

12th place for Stefan van Renselaar.

13th for Snake's Connor Steer.

Matteo Scala brings the first round of runs to a close with 10th place.

Warrington gets the 2nd runs underway.

The VSM man improves 3 places to 14th.

Pedersen jumps from last to 12th position.

Rodríguez improves slightly but not his position on the grid.

Jalving up 5 places to 8th place.

Brunner climbs 2 places to 10th.

Maverick snatches pole from Kederer.

Edwards up to 14th place.

Gilson is the best SCR in 15th.

Up four places for Steer.

Scala steals pole from Maverick with the last run of the day.

Congratulations Matteo Scala and VSM.

How on earth did I end up in 4th? Good golly, Miss Molly...I'm expecting to slide back though, since we don't have any boost on the car.

Sixth and tenth with no boost is a sign of just how good we look this year.

Pick up some more points and the plan is well on the way to fruition.
