Was Australia even in that tournament? lol! Barely raised a whimper of interest in me.... I reckon for most non soccer fans, they/we would struggle to name any player other than Cahill....

On with the racing! F1, GPGSL, MotoGP's etc...

LOLZ
(Because we did sooo much better hehe)

Stats: 139 Starts / 7 Wins / 9 Poles / 5 Fastest laps
I can hardly beleive Kevin missed a deadline. Didnt he mention something about holidays. Furthermore i think he sid react in the last 2 weeks.

Please note i do not want to undermine the intelligence of our perf checkerd.

"If in doubt, Flat out."
And there comes more perf-driver-swapping-work again.

TNR, however, can promote Karjalainen into the race seat. He has two warnings but the last one happened more than 2 races ago, so he can drive in the races now. However, TNR has to consider that if Karjalainen gets the final warning, they've wasted one of their possible driver swaps.

Kevin's last message was this one, over 20 days ago.

Congratulations! It was quite a fight, but this time you win ;-)
"Goals that you don't get in, they'll make it." ;)

Regarding the World Cup, it was a shame that Brazil exited at the quarter-finals ;)

Tobias, yep, I feel the same about that World Cup :D
54, 74, 90, 14, I think I should make a helmet featuring this. Or someone else steal this idea because I can't paint :D

Soccer? What's that? You Aussies are as bad as the Yanks! It's called FOOTBALL for god's sake. You predominitely play the ball with your feet, therefore ... FOOTBALL!!!!!

Anyway, the race was run tonight and we have a winner, would you believe. And get this, no retirements! There are a great number of screenshots for me to get through, so bear with me :)

England to win the world cup in 2018 ;) Three lions on my shirt, jumpers for goalposts lol

5 x WCC - S5, S6, S7, S8, S10 | 4 x WDC - S5 Nick van der Voort ; S6, S7, S8 Ed Greenhalgh | 2 x WTC - S6 Stuart Ingers; S8 Andrei Sevastian
Just as in America we have other sport/s called football, so it's purely a matter of convenience that many call it soccer, I tend to use both interchangebly

World Cup: we have five! ;)

Race Day

The weather forecast predicts a very wet race here at Donington Park, no surprise there!

The grid lines up on the rain sodden tarmac waiting for the start.

And they are off, McCarthy looks to have got a slightly better start than Elleker.

Elleker however holds the inside line at Redgate.

The back of the field almost stops as the whole field pass through the first corner.

Nell challenges Jalving for 19th, but ultimately has to back out of the move.

Elleker leads from Schieder with a large gap back to McCarthy.

It's getting crowded down at the Esses.

Elleker starts the 2nd lap.

Here's the standings at the end of the first lap.

Although the first two look to be in a race of their own, the rest of the field looks close.

Elleker takes the fastest lap at the end of lap 2

McCarthy defends from fellow Aussie Hayes.

Warrington runs wide at Redgate and is passed by Scala and Jalving.

The movers and shakers in the top ten.

Pedersen looses it McCleans.

Maverick will not be happy with his start.

Nell makes a pitstop. Must be damage to his car for it to be that early. Camereas missed the incident unfortunately.

McCarthy still with Hayes pressing behind. Gilson keeps a watching brief.

Maverick takes the fastest lap.

However, Jake Legge soon takes it from him.

Pedersen beats them both.

Warrington retakes Jalving.

There's no sign of this foul weather clearing up.

Van Renselaar leads Edwards, Greenhalgh and Cartwright.

Mathew with Maverick for close comfort.

But now the AMR driver has Greidanus attacking him on the inside.

Maverick put off so much that Legge also overtakes him.

Legge is flying as he now takes Greidanus too.

His team mate is no slouch as he takes fastest lap.

Mathew must have made a mistake as he passed by four cars.

We're at one third distance, so lets look at the positions.

McCarthy looks a little more safe in 3rd.

Oh no! Legge has spun at the Old Hairpin.

He rejoins the race in 21st.

The pitstop window has opened and McCarthy is the first to stop.

Greenhalgh defends from Kederer.

McCarthy remerges from the pits into 14th position just behind team mate Moinet.

Instantly comes under attack by new boy Mathew.

They've tangled together and spun off!

Maverick comes in for a service.

He then has to wait as Horváth and Pedersen go by.

Scala gets his overtaking manoeuvre completely wrong and ruins his and van Renselaar's race.

A slick pitstop for the Aston Martin team for once.

Elleker rejoins the action in 4th position.

Schieder yet to stop, leads the race. Can he now leapfrog Ellker in the stops.

Greidanus now 5th as Schieder takes to the pitlane.

Edwards also pits, Grenhalgh 3rd, Elleker 4th.

Greenhalgh passes and takes the lead.

Elleker also passes the MAC lad.

Maverick is going to have to work hard to salvage any points from this race.

Jalving's race goes from bad to worse as he spins at the Old Hairpin.

Rejoins the track in 21st.

Greenhalgh stays out for another lap.

Maverick chases down Legge. His new tyres working much better than the Demon's old ones.

Greenhalgh pits and Elleker takes the lead.

Greenhalgh exits the pitlane in 8th.

10 laps to go and all the pitstops are completed. Here's the standings.

Schieder still in 2nd place.

Rodríguez looks to take the last points paying position from Moinet.

It's tight, but he's through.

Ellker loses 3 tenths to Schieder, is there enough time for him to take the lead?

Edwards having a cracking race in 5th.

Rodríguez now pulling away from Moinet.

Looks like Gilson will be finishing on the podium again.

Elleker starts another lap and Schieder is still closing the gap, but it doesn't seem enough to challenge the AMR man.

A little more, but its only hundredths.

Five laps to go.

Jo-Anne Hayes must be enjoying life in the Snake race team, she's sitting pretty in 4th.

Oh no! Commentator's curse, she has dropped it at McCleans.

Now all the way down in 20th position. That has not gone down well on the Snake pitwall.

Maverick has done well to get up to 10th from 16th.

The gap at the front is now down to 1.667 secs.

Mathew bringing up the rear.

Gilson still in 3rd.

The gap seems to have stabilsed now.

Sebastian Nell is piling on the pressure for McCarthy.

The inevitable has happened and the both go off into the kitty litter.

Demon boss Glen Sheppard will be another unhappy team owner.

Final Lap.

Seems Schieder has settled for 2nd place.

Jack Elleker wins his 2nd race in a row.

Max Schieder finishes in 2nd.

Joseph Gilson takes the final podium position.

Congratulations to Jack Elleker and Aston Martin Racing, winners of the European Grand Prix.

Official results will follow shortly.

Jesus christ is there anyone with worse luck then Gareth here or am I just being horrifically biased?

Started second and looking strong only to get punted off by two over eager drivers.

At least Eric managed to snag a point by the looks of things *crosses fingers*

So frustrated with the collision with Stefan, I could even get some points. I just hope to recover at Monza.
