texture problem

I'm experiencing a problem with the textures of the F2002 (F1C conversion). Everything looks all right as long as the camera is focused on the car. But as soon as you're riding with another driver, it changes between looking normal and like below.

Does anyone of you know what causes this problem?

Tobi, could you send me the car and it's texture(s)? I will have a look at it.

My Grand Prix 4 Files

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?

1- A texture assigned for the second ferrari may be not correctly named on one or several lower lods.
2- car objects of one or several lods may be not correctly sorted (into GP4Builder, check: Action, sort car objects on the menu bar)

I think that the 2nd solution may fix the problem...

It could be also the TEX file which is bugged....
Remind you that It is composed by 4 textures and It. Could be
The texture reduced by 2 or by 4 which is wrongI

@Excalibur:
1) Both Ferraris have this problem. If the camera was riding with MSC in the pic above, his car would look correct and Barrichello's wouldn't. If the cam was riding with the Williams behind them, both would look wrong. They don't look wrong permanently, it's kind of flickering. These two pictures should show what I mean. Both are taken riding with RSC.

The textures are named correctly for both Ferraris.
2) I tried that, it didn't work

@gezere: the textures looks ok to me, I may be wrong though.

If you guys want take a look at it yourselves, here are the files: [www.mediafire.com]

@Gezere: You are right. That makes sense! Maybe he should check the numbers of mipmaps for each textures, also...

@ Kedy: Ok, I'll have a look...

The problem is that the materials are not correctly assigned to the car. Some materials are missing too (too many names assigned without materials)

You need to find the original files and all the textures needed for the car (also carbon, brakes etc...) and to map them (unless these are commons textures into your wad).
Some car parts are also missing related to your textures, such as the body driver.... the mapping of the car is also not correct:

Sorry but the conversion for GP4 is not finished yet for this car.... That's why it looks weird in game.

Thanks for the explanation, much appreciated. The missing textures are all common textures, I forgot to include them in the upload. As I've no idea how to fix this, I guess I'll just use the Ferrari by Enzojz & Ghostrider then.

Your welcome ;-) To resume, I would say that the main problem on your car is too many textures with a bad mapping. That's why the textures don't match correctly with the shape in game (even when using lod_0 only). To fix it, you should select faces of the car by material (one by one) and then to remap them correctly into the UV mapping window. It would be a long work.
So, better is to use EnZojz's Ferrari as you say, yes! Top quality work! :-)
