I could use some help for once! [FIXED]

Maybe this is answered, maybe not - however I could not find it.

I wanna play GP4 while my laptop is connected to the tv (bigger screen ;))

I've now connected my Logitech Dual Action to play, have set it up in GP4 and it's usable, no problems there.

However since my laptop is over there I can't reach the keys properly.

I;ve tons of buttons left on my controller, is there any way to assign them to the keyboard controls?

Like to change cam, pause game, replay? I now need to revert back to my laptop to go to t-cam or to activate GPxPatch overlay settings

And I find that quite annoying!!

I already tried changing keyboard input, however it's not accepting my controller buttons.

How far is the laptop away?

What i did was buy an external USB device and keyboard, plugged that into the laptop, then the external keyboard into the USB device, kind of like an extension cord.

Works for me.

Somebody might have a better solution.

Wireless keyboard, simple. It's what I use because the computer is permanently on the tv. :-) You could also use a wireless usb hub for your controller and the keyboard.

Search for and download Joy2Key. It's free and you can configure any joystick button to emulate any key-stroke you want.

I found XPadder, does the same! Works good so far :)

Thanks for the help all!

You could also use Logitech's Gaming software. You could use it to set keytrokes for buttons you'd like to use. If you already have it installed, you won't need another software running in the background.
