I've said it above, but I'll repeat it:

You can have another drivers.ini specified in gpxset.ini (DriversIniPath under [PerfManager] section), and drivers will be looked up in this file first before the other. So for specific seasons you'd use a drivers.ini specified in GPxSet.

Never saw abbreviations being used in GPGSL, so I just choose the pattern used for de La Rosa or Van der Garde when I found a compound surname :-)

If there is an official list of abbreviation I can edit the list.

Would it be possible to combine this drivers.ini file with the performance file to stop duplication / mismatches occuring?

I can do that but the current performance file editors (e.g. TeamEditor) don't support it.

I've implemented it now. GPxPatch will read nationality and 3-letter code from the performance file (last 2 columns). But it will be deleted by TeamEditor if you load/save it there.

Thanks. But GP4 Central is still listing GPxPatch 3.93... is it still maintained?

Yes I need to update it. I've been too busy with work lately to do updates. But I will get to it soon.

It would be nice if it had more updates. I see a lot of stuff released on this forum with links to obscure file sharing sites. This makes it very hard to get an overview of all available content, and also hard to download stuff without going through all kinds of banners and fake download links etc.

Abbreviations have been used from time to time in the GPGSL when posting text results, but there isn't a definitive set of codes, its just down to each individual poster. Thanks for the driver.ini mate, saved me some time. I've made a couple of changes.

Fantastic work Rene, flags have now been implemented in the GPGSL Race Mod thanks to you ;)

Ok. By the way, I was thinking if it would be useful to use some kind of macro in an image path in GPxCInfo that expands to drver name, 3-letter code, car number, or nationality code? Then it's not needed to create items 22-fold with a car filter. Maybe same for team and track number.
