No doubt! It's very nice and Im glad that now it's working but like I said if the game's one is working too it would be perfect. If you need from any game test I can try because I keep my GP4 clean and fresh (always with backup copy) so I can test everything.(Y) But now I must sleep.:-)

The old classics will be always better than the newest games.

Not sure, perhaps Ed can shed a little light on that, I just search for a video to make screencaps

Btw just tested it out, it looks great ingame :) Thanks for the update!

I can't find a video of the Fastest Lap graphic, but it definitely does not appear on the pit times. I have a feeling it was only on the graphic showing position or name as shown in Maikel's photos.

Ok, I'll just put it on that one and maybe some other similar ones like winner screen.

Yes, I think it did appear on the winner graphic. By the way, I found out that it started in 2006.

Brilliant work SDI, really updated the entire look of them game with these releases! I have just one question, how do you turn the plank/tyre wear off? It's now on during the race but i would prefer it not to be for screenshot reasons.

as you can see from this 2006 screenshot, the flag and tyre logo join onto the original 2004 driver/team name graphic, unlike the 2010 where the flag is ontop ofthe graphic.

Rene probably this was already discussed in the previous posts about the gpxpatch 4.20 and 4.21 but I didn't find the answer . How can I change the driver's names , e.g Esteban Gutierrez rather than Esteban Gutierez as shown now once the gpxpatch doesn't follow the performance file in the CSM MOD . Where the drivers names are located into the gpxatch ?
Thanks in advance and sorry if the answer was already given in any another post

Solved Rene , it was my mistake , the name was wrong in the performance.ini
Thanks anyway

Very nice new GPxPatch-version indeed (Y)!

But I still have an issue with the 3D-engine sound:
Although I set the maximum sound-distance to 200m the sound isn't really muted, if all cars are even 1 km away. I still hear quiet engine sounds of all cars, what is quite annoying over a complete race :(.
Can anything be done to solve this?

Voice management and 3D-algorithm didn't solve this issue so far.

Hi René! :) I've got a small question for you: is it possible to modify the number of laps used in the Friday practice session? Because it seems pretty unrealistic that AI cars, after having completed 23 laps, come back to the pits and don't go out on track anymore, even though the session in terms of time is not over. Thanks for any suggestion :)

Can you try to _increase_ the max. distance? The max. distance is actually the distance at which the volume is no longer attenuated.
You can also try to lower the min. distance, so the volume will be fade out quicker.

Yes, I can make this a setting.
