I had the same crash as addie, and with XP compatibility mode it didn't crash.

I've made a fix so XP compatibility mode is not needed for this. But I'm not sure if it's the root of the problem.

Then you didn't set "Max track length" to 10 or 20 km.
But I think no further tests are needed.

You have to chose 20km in GPxPatch/GPxtrack.

Tested it on win8, gpxpatch to compability mode XP SP3.

Did a quick race, could do a pitstop without problems, tarmac is transparent at the same place as in René's screenshot.
The TV overlays of gpxsat show wrong positions for the drivers until they cross the s/f line.
Also after the race the results were completely wrong. I won the race, about 8 other drivers finished, but the results said that everyone finished the race, with me somewhere in the midfield, about 4 minutes behind first (not lapped).

Hmm, indeed, the race positions seem to be wrong. For me it starts halfway the straight before the last corner. All other cars are still ok, but my position is suddenly 13th. The same happens to the other cars at this point. I'll investigate this. I guess I was wrong about no further tests needed :)

I had the same thing, for me it started around the 2000 sector mark, anyone between there and the end of the track was shuffled to be behind anyone who was outside that section. Unless you're a lap ahead, then it keeps you in 1st.

when you did the pit stop everything was OK ? in my installation I had invisible pit crew ...

but I agree with SDI no more tests required for the moment as far as the crashes are concerned. I'll make another long track as soon as it gets (later this week), and will post again for more tests, so stay tuned :)

thanks a lot so far !

sorry, bad phrased from my side. with ok I meant no crash, but the pitcrew was invisible too for me.
