It seems the position is bugged, not the background. I'll fix this.

And it's me again ;)

What exactly decides how the cars on the trackmap are drawn? In a CSM mod it looks like in the pic below, in the original game it looks like in misery's pic on page 2. Both use the same gpxsat.ini, and I couldn't find anything in the documentation about it...

Maybe not the right topic to ask and maybe a stupid question, but how can you configure that the HUD is only visible in cockpit view?

Rene , do you know which font I should use in the panel shown below for having the font used in the previous versions of gpxpatch ?
Thanks in advance

As we know the 1991 mod uses an interesting classic mode that uses some custom fonts and trasparent overlays (like Longines and Olivetti ads that turns each time that TV Style is activate, but seems that since 4.10 those ads doesn't appear no more)

here the first problem. From left how it appers in 4.20 (or since 4.10), on right how it should look and/or looks like 4.02, with a little black box instead of a yellow one.

Here the another issue. The pitboard panel is right, tex that should be on pitboard panel not; doesn't matter if you change in "stretch", it always be like this. Texts will be always decentered to the panel...
Plus seems that Italic style doesn't like 4.10/4.20 on classic mode, some letters are a little bit cutted

Was it overwritten? The installation shouldn't overwrite an existing drivers.ini. This is checked in the install script...

It looks like CSM overwrites gpxpdata\gfx\trackmapbuttons.tga with the old version. It consists of 3 sub images now instead of 2.

Edit the panel, make sure Filter is enabled, and press Edit filter... there you can only select cockpit camera view.

There is a font called ATL2004, but if it's bugged you can select courier or any other monospace font you like (which you have to add to the global fonts first).

I'll check out the 1991 mod and test the panels.

For the italic font it's strange that this wasn't clipped before. I only improved the rendering quality. The final width is something I ask from Windows with GetTextExtentPoint32. So not much I can do except maybe make the rendering quality optional.

It works fine here after I set the panel to "Stretch"...

For the CSM classic mode enhancement it's probably best to use "Center", as the GPxPatch classic mode does this too. And it will be compatible with the images as the aspect ratio stays the same.

I've fixed this now by using the old anti aliased quality (instead of proof quality) when the font is italic.

I installed the GPxPatch 4.20 again and the drivers.ini is overwritten again.
