Gear changing

When watching the san marino gp i noticed on the onboard shots that some drivers could change down manualy, using wheel paddles, but allow the car to change up fully automaticly, would it be possible to make a utility for this to use with gp4 .

probably, but GP4s auto gears arent very good. Its faster to do it on ur own

why don't you post your question at the GPxPatch forum, René has proven to be a wizard with the GP4 code!!

You can change down gears in gp4 already with out any patches! Obviously you can't change down from 16,000 RPM and then drop a gear but you can do a few thousand revs before the auto box does

Yes..that's the good thing with GP4: u can have auto gears but still shift manually if u want to.
