Hi guys! :) I found two little bugs: the first one is on the main menu text where you can choose the desired mode (championship 1993), the second one is on the race options (1993 levels). So I wonder: how can I edit these text in order to make it appear "championship 1992" and "1992 levels"? Hope there's some config-text file to type simply the right words or numbers in this case, many thanks for support :)

This bugs happens because I use a GPaedia from my 1993 mod, so, we need a 1992 Gpaedia made from scratch.... can anyone make it for us?

Hi everyone! :) I don't know if it's a bug or not, just hope that someone can help me: during qualifying session the first time I'm into the cockpit the different sets of tyres are displayed correctly and I can choose the desired one without problems, but I noticed that after going on track for a while and returning to the pits, when I switch from T-cam to onboard cockpit camera again, the "dry soft" text on display is replaced by "dry hard", and the dry soft set of tyres is simply missing; I also tried to scroll on the menu but there isn't at all, that's strange :(
Kerley, I have some free time right now so could have a crack at working on the GPaedia.

If you send it over I can take a look.

Races: 163 - Wins: 23 - Pole Positions: 24 - Fastest Laps: 22
Season 9: Constructors' Champions
@filou16
Do you have more good things for us? :-) If you have you can send to me? Physics? :-) New cars? :-) Thanks!

For the people who want to help in Gpaedia, heres the file in the mod: [www.mediafire.com]

I'm not sure, but I think what you're describing is a fundamental GP4 issue... Once you've used a set of either the dry softs or dry hards in qualifying you cannot change compound, except by editing the setup and using a different setup for the race from quali

Yes, I understood your point spencer, but indeed I chose the qualifying setup which featured the dry soft tyres: in fact the first time I went on track I was on soft compound; the strange thing is that when I came back to the pits on display I couldn't see those soft tyres earlier set up and chosen , but the "dry hard" ones, and I realized that they had replaced the soft tyres because under the text "dry hard" there was the set of tyres I used on track for 3 laps; that's why I said it may be a bug; hope I've been clear enough :)
actually back in 2001 you had to use the same compound for qualifying and race. so when gp4 disables a compound after qualifying this is in perfect accordance with the 2001 regulations

Great news! thank you very much petrus :)

Sorry mates but has anyone else the problem of viewing the "save" button into the options menu as if it were disabled? I see it greyed out, in fact nothing happens by clicking on it :( thanks for help :)
That happens sometimes, no idea why :/ If you're on a race weekend menu then you can click "Leave Event" and it'll give you the option of saving then, which always works :)
