GPGSL - Past Season Liveries Compilations Idea

Oh @#$%&, yeah! Made a huge mistake there. Damn...and the next render was already rendering for an hour! Well, thanks for the info. S2 car will then delayed a bit, since I gotta have to fix this first.

For now the render should do, but I'll re-render the S1 car once more when the other cars are finished.

No worries mate. The car also looks a bit shiny but that might just be the alpha layer.

The shininess is caused by the environment layer and you're right, it is too shiny. I loaded the wrong render-file this morning, while still half-asleep, which caused both the wrong rear tyre and the heavy reflections in the render. Be assured that the S2 car and the re-render at the end of this project will look better!

@Monil, I've not heard from him in years now mate. Most of the old GP4World lot are now scattered around.

@John, that looks great mate, I should probably have mentioned before that the Season 2 car ran with Dunlop tyres though.

@Dan: Yeah, you should have In the render on P2 it has Bridgestone tyres as well (and no indication about the tyre manufacturer in the livery itself). Not to mention that I don't have Dunlop textures for this tyre set and would have needed to use other tyres. So...you'll have to go with Bridgestones for this one...at least for now. Maybe I'll do another re-render of it at the end of the long list, too.

I didn't paint their S2 car.

It was Kev Schroeder if I'm not mistaken?

Would be great to see some of these reused or adapted for future seasons. I'd be happy to potentially do some for the current shape once my exams have finished

Maybe one to replace my first project, the Facebook F1 team, which was on the reserves list for S7 (disappeared for some reason for S8) but never used...

Or even an adaptation of the Lotus F1 Team livery, as long as it isn't confused with any other team

Looks great mate. One possible suggestion to make though, is there a better material available for the cockpit glass? It appears to be orange in your renders.

That's a bug with the car_1 lod I think. At least it's what happen in Zmodeller.
Maybe it should be better with car_2

I am already using the car_2. Maybe the problem occurs with the car 2? I'll check the car 1 tomorrow. Actually didn't want to switch to car 1 to avoid some conversion work, but if I see that it doesn't happen with car 1, then I'll use that one from now on. In the end, everything is possible. The question is more whether it is necessary to take the work for such a small issue.

And I couldn't leave it and did one more:

Raltwest livery looks great. Shame it didn't stay like this into S2. Wasn't there a big talking point about real life F1 liveries being used in GPGSL back in S2?

Well Bruno was actually banned midseason, which saw Lucky 7 take Ralt West's place on the grid.

Tbh I'd completely forgotten about how nice that livery was.
