A surprising error for all SPA-based tracks

Ripping Corpse just reported me about a strange effect I never noticed so far : SPA track have no shading.
After a quick search I noticed there was simply a mistake in the original weather.wdt file.
Instead of having a value of 0.480, AmbientLevelRebalance setting have a 0480 value ! Read as 480, it overbright the track and removes any shading.

So since 2002, not only is SPA overbright, but EVERY TRACK using the weather.wdt file from the original SPA is also overbright !

The fix is simple though, and for all the modders and users of SPA-based tracks concerned, you can fix it by edting the weather.wdt file from the track .wad file with any text editor, changing 0480 value by 0.480 and recreating your wad.

Once this is done, you will enjoy a slightly better shade track, as shown below.

Enjoy and thanks to Ripping Corpse to have noticed this 10+ years old bug :)

Nice story ;). Even after more than ten years after GP4 has been released, we still explore more and more bugs ;).

Note that this doesn't affect the 2005/2006/2007 trackpacks (I've checked). plodekk's trackpacks are affected.

... well I have not come here for three weeks, I have been out because of professional matters, and this subject spa, I was going crazy with this, and even though the stress laurent discovered this, I changed very many tex to zolder to give some additional shadows because Behaviours, not worked, and I never thought that this bug existed for 11 years hehehehehe, thankfully that is solved now zolder will be ready in days, very soon the mythical track of zolder will be ready for all, and believe me if you guys liked Österreichring, Zolder is much more spectacular, with Behaviours and shadows that I introduced, expect to see, is one of my favorite tracks, I say this with no problems, thank you Laurent.... ;-)
