Hi Klaus, try moving the right end of the problem wall a bit more to the right, or the left end a bit to the left. Just change bank direction by a few degrees and see if it still happens.

My guess is that the problem comes from the wall being aligned to the bank direction at that particular sector.

To be honest at first sight I was not impressed by your choice. I mean... Macau, huh - there's nowhere to overtake! I prefer the permanent circuits like Paul Ricard with its wide runoffs u know... But in any case Macau is the one of the most famous street tracks along with Pau (which I also don't really like unfortunately). In any case, the more of different tracks could be here, the better in the end. So keep it up and good luck (Y)
ps And i have two questions:
- Do you still planning to create the Potrero de los Funes Circuit?
- Will you continue to work on the Austin track updates?
Just curious ;)

@ Prblanco:
Yes, wall and banking direction are exactly in a row. I'll try your suggestion and report afterwards whether the bug is fixed ;-).

Well, track editing is a bit like writing songs. You start a project, and another one, and another one...
So, 90% of your projects will interrupt once. I'm sure, every track editor has got lots of unreleased tracks in ther portfolio. I - for example - have got 8 tracks on my harddrive, those I started once, but haven't finished so far.

Once I will finish - or at least release - them all, of course, but I don't know when that will be.
So, to Potrero de los Funes: It's just, that everything was fine, but when I was about to create good elevation changes, I became desperate with GP4B's 'track profiler' :(. But yes, I still plan to finish this track ;-).

Yes I plan to do so. But I never kept in secret, that I would give the work to someone else if anyone is interested in it. It would give me more time for tracks like Macau ;-). What's still to do at Austin?
- Sadly the Dat-file does not fit the reality at all parts. Especially where the track becomes wider, we have to tweak a lot:

- The track painting is still missing. This might be hard work to create:

- Of course we can also still add a lot of trackside objects, but that has never been my favourite task ;-).

That's the current state at Austin and Potrero ;-).

Don't say sorry, for 2 reasons:
1. Without you we wouldn't have even one good version of Austin.
and
2. I know, that your DAT was finished before the construction worker were finished in Austin ;-).
So, nevertheless great work (Y).

At the moment I renew most of the dat-file and hope, that I can get this layout working, although Laurent advises against it ;-).

But now... back 2 topic:
Austin --> Macau ;-).

Those wide final ranges for Austin Turns are not suitable for GP4 specs.

Which means there must be looked after an alternative solution.

In game surface is banked and unrealistic. I´ll try myself a better approach.

Best luck for you, Mr.

It's easy. Rebuild the corner with sticking to the inside of the turn and then widen it towards the outside. Instead of sticking to the outside and then widening the corner towards the inside. It's easier to do it than to explain it. :P

That might be a good solution for sure (Y). I think that's also what Gildoorf made ;-). Thanks for sharing this idea.

I just finished my own version (keeping existing layout and widening the track towards the inside). An in-game-test hasn't shown me any problems so far, but maybe they will appear a little later. We'll see ;-).

Hey Briere,

It would be crazy in an F1 car.

The circuit looks like it was at an advanced stage, thats why i asked if it had been completed, would be great to drive.

Slasher.
