Hoping for a new teameditor feature

Would it be possible to add a new feature to teameditor? Now we can only set one tyreposition for all teams? Especailly with the new cars it would be fantastic to set exact tyre positions per team? I like teameditor very much and it would be great if the maker could add this feature to teameditor? Any chance?

that would be fantastic - i love the teameditor but to set the different tyre positions i only can handle it with the tweaker.

If I remind well, tyre position is stored once for all teams in the game, so I can't add a feature in TeamEditor to handle more than one position.

If some tools allow for different tyre positions in game, it's because they are re-routing game data on the fly (at game execution time) and TeamEditor can't do that...

As a compromise, you can still use TeamEditor to work out what the tyre positions should be, and then load them into GP4 Tweaker.

Personnaly, I use both Team Editor (for steering wheels, cams positions, helmets) and GP4_Tweaker (for tyres and rear_light_on positions) and it works well.

Also, Gezere made some time ago, a simple tool that convert automatically T.Editor to Tweaker positions:

Both are fantastic tools when used in unison.

I do the same as Excalibur and have no issues.

Lo2k could you do a quick update adding 2010-2013 team orders? Because at the moment TeamEditor just loads Jaguar for every slot and you have to manually define which carshapes to use.

@mclarenaustralia : I can only add it to the todo list for now, so no promise for any quick release.

I did aswell at first, but I've learned. I use TeamEditor for everything and if I need seperate tyrepositions
for different cars I add it with GP4Tweaker

Play with it a little and it will come to you mate! :)

But when you change something in teameditor (for example perfomance files) and you upload this information into your game you automatically set all tyre positions back to the original settings?

ehum, why are you changing performance files in TeamEditor? I only change helmetposition, t-cam position, camera positions, different rims and colours and arm colours.
Nothing more. I use GPxPatch to load my performance files that I download.

And to answer your question: No, the tyrepositions stay until you unable the feature in GP4Tweaker

with teameditor you can easily change power for each team and driver ....and you can see the gaps in seconds in practice and race?
thats why is use teameditor.'

Why not just download the relevant performance files? Then it is all done for you.

Gitanes has made a massive collection of performance files which are great and as Eric said above you can just load them via GPXPatch.

If you do this then you can use TeamEditor and Tweaker alongside each other.
