GPxPatch 4.00 RELEASE

i dunno how gpxpatch 4.02 works for the other guys, but for me gpxpatch 4.02 still crashes for gp4 without a gpxload.txt. The new version 4.02 works good for gp3, but not for gp4. The gpxpatch beta 4.02 was perfect for both games, so i've installed this version again. I'm sorry to say it

Oops, I made a small mistake. I've now uploaded the correct inst-gpxpatch402.exe. This one works with GP4 1.00 (I've just tested it). Sorry for the inconvenience.

hello René,
can you take a look in the gpxpatch.
if i choose the option "start gpxpatch in debug mode" i have to calibrate the sound at every startup. otherwise not.
but i have to start gp4 in debug mode.
is there a bug in your release.

I've heard about it before, but I don't know why it happens
On my Windows 7 system it doesn't seem to recognize my sound card at all. Selecting 2d sound hardware acceleration does nothing, and 3d is disabled. Recalibrate does nothing either.
And I have no idea what calibrating sound means.

i have problems with the newest version and CSM/TSM. The .dat files of a track are not load in GP4. The .wad file ist loading correct but i have the standard dat files. GPxTrack ist not activ.

uninstall the old version and remove the registry key at:

HKCurrentUser\Software\SDI

reboot and reinstall the latest version (do a new download)

that's what I did here ... I did other things as well as delete Grand Prix 4 registration key (obviously a backup of important files before is need), a reboot and reinstalled everything from scratch (GP4 and official patch)

now everything works 100%Ok!

thanks, but i activated gpxtrack for some days again and now it's works

wow! still making updates for GPxPatch Rene! Damn! =P That´s excellent dedication for the old gpx games!

Its a must have tool for these games! Cant remember how we managed to play these games without it before =P
