GPxPatch 4.00 RELEASE

Is there a way to install version 4.01 and keep all settings of the old version?

Great job again. After years of Gpxpatch we got a new version. Is it possible to add new tv style like 2011/2012 ?

I'm glad it's working now! It took quite some hours to get it right under all circumstances.

When you install the new version the old settings should still be used. Are there problems with settings being lost?

I have no immediate plans for adding new tv style.

Also in the latest release is the option to change the lap counter to count up instead of down.
All you need to do is edit gpxsat.ini and add LapsLeftMode=1 under [Digital2004].

i have some problems with gpxpatch 4.01. GPxPatch always crsahes after i've start it. I've tested gpxpatch with gp4 and gp3, but giot the same results, it won't work for both games

And 3.94 worked fine? If not, do you have the required DLL's? (mfc42.dll and msvcrt.dll).
Does it crash when you launch gpxpatch or when you press the start button in gpxpatch? In the latter case, could you send me the logfile?

thanks for your reply René, gpxpatch 3.94 works perfect without any problems. And gpxpazh 4.01 crashes after i've pressed the start button in gpxpatch. I'll attach the gpxlog later here, because i've uninstalled gpxpatch 4.01 again and have to reinstall it first

Maybe you need to edit the properties in the exe and make sure that "run as administrator" is checked. Also, running it in compatibility mode as "Windows XP sp3" might help.

here's the gpxload [www30.zippyshare.com] and there is no option to change the compatibility mode for win xp sp3 in the gp4 exe

Me too. Does not work with CSM 1.26

@Quickslick : sure you don't have an XP SP3 compatibility option, because you're actually using Windows XP SP3
By the way why are you not using the GP4 official patch ? Your exe is still in 1.00 instead of 1.02 with the 9.6 patch (do not ask why these versions)

Ok, then you already use Windows XP I guess.

Is there a particular reason you're using GP4 1.00 instead of 1.02?
I tried to be compatible with 1.00, but I didn't really test it as I supposed everyone would be using 1.02 anyway.

@MrRace: did you use GPxPatch 4.00 or 4.01?

hm, i don't like the patch 9.6 and never had any big problems without the patch until now . On the other hand it's much easier for me to use several editors without the patch 9.6. And what i don't understand is, that gpxpatch 4.01 won't work with gp3 aswell. There's the same problem as for gp4
