What you need is not a better slipstream effect, you need faster cc-cars .
Try to tweak your performance file and see if it works. +400 for every driver should be enough for the start .

Beside that your right. I would also like, if slipstream effect would be in effect in slow corners as well . Maybe someone can tweak this some time.

I use the default physics that come with the mods, at the moment 2006 mod by gp4italia

@klausfeldmann thanks i'm going to try that now. But if I just edit the mod's generic performance file (e.g. 2007.txt), will it also effect the tracks that also have a special one (e.g. silverstone.txt)?

Nope, GP4 uses the track specific files, it only uses the generic one if a track specific one can't be found So edit all of them equally

Thanks very much ) its a lot better now, the ai seems to have been very much too slow
