TSM not loading tracks

As the title says really. CSM loads mods fine but is not loading tracks. Has been working fine for sometime but has stopped working since copying the carset and track folders into a new GP4 installation.

TSM status is saying "No tracks loaded"

Help please, thanks in advance.

Have you created a track profile that tsm can read?

Some tracks simply aren't available for TSM. Jorge Caranti for example doesn't make tracks for TSM .

well ... almost all tracks can be converted to the format that the TSM tool understand

To test what the problem might be I re-downloaded the 2006 trackpack and installed it using TSM. CSM still would not load tracks from the 2006a track.ini. That is not the problem.

I do not respond to help requests via the pm service, it is what the forum is for.
My answer is does your mod have the track.ini line inserted in the correct place? Check another mod with a trackpack and you will see in the csm file a line for the track data, this should point to the location of the track.ini file. Without this data the track info cannot be loaded. Opening tsm will show available tracks for insertion to a mod. It is one thing to have a profile, but if csm does not have the location of said profile it cannot load it. Check the csm file via notepad.

I cannot see where there is a reference to where tracks are installed, nor where such a line should go.

But TSM still says under status "No tracks loaded", what have I done wrong !!

The tracklist entries should be in the Global Vars ini. The settings file you posted shows the request for the tracklist, which obviously does not exist. Look at a mod that has a working trackpack.

None of my mods have working trackpacks! They all worked fine until I copied the track and carsets folders into a new installation of GP4, with exactly the same name as the old one.

I have now freshly installed the 2006 mod and trackpack and it is not working!

TSM is saying tracks are not loaded but they are in the tracks folder as the log in my previous post shows.

I have looked at the Global Vars ini of a number of mods and am not really sure what I am looking for!!

Sorry to be a pain but do not know what to do. What is so confusing is that everything worked fine for weeks but doesn't now.

To EricMoinet, I can see that line. None of the mods have anything in that place. Have tried putting in the location of the tracks folder (G:\Grand Prix\Grand Prix 4\tracks) but it makesno difference.

Odd that it worked before and now it does not. It is a mystery. Send a pm to Bigbrother linking to this topic.
