2011 cockpit update

Hello guys,

could anyone please send me the updated car_cockpit_00.gp4 file for Josekast's 2011 cockpit made by ramf1v? (this one: [gp4forever.com])
The link in the post is no longer working, and ramf1v doesn't have the file anymore.

Hey kedy, If you have no success just send me the offending file and I'll fix it again, if I remember rightly, it was just a simple case of deleting some overlapping faces.

@kedy, I'm not sure, but I think this is it....i just pulled it out of the 2012 mod, maybe BigBrother put it there, it looks clean enough.

the 3d hands are a bit ugly but i prefer this instead of having no hands ..

Here you go, there was a cockpit strip overlapping the interior..easy fix, let me know how it looks I don't have time to test it, my GP4 is set up for modding, and your right, josekasts has much more detail, better shape and with same uvw mapping.

It would be better if these mods had a list of what they actually contain, and by who...maybe there is ...can't find it...anyway hope this works for you.

your MOD is through CSM tool?

if you can do me the favor of giving a copy of the folders GP4Tweaker and Cockpit (StWheels not necessary). I could not adjust the height and distance of the cockpit/steering wheel

Normal MOD? Ok .. then need the files:

cockpít.gp4
cockpit_dash.gp4
car_cockpit_00.gp4

and the coordinates that you used in gp4tweaker or teameditor (so I turn here for the gp4tweaker)

Thanks to kedy I managed to find the cockpit files on my backup pc, and I'd taken this a little further than I thought.

I'd fixed the mapping in the cockpit, the texture stretching always annoyed me.....





Remapped the uvw's and rendered an ambient occlusion pass for a better sense of depth....





combined them......



...and bumped up the shading to be more realistic, again it annoyed me that i could see the end of the car with no shadow....



Still needs a lot of tweaking and maybe add the protective leg padding in the car....and some fluffy dice
