gp4 desktop crash

hello, raztahz here....

if your taking about gp4 patch, this doesn't concern it....

ever so often after exiting a race or a practice session or so to fix up a car setup... 3 to 4 times after doing so..... my computer crashes and returns
to my desktop

i've tried using gpxpatch and so... but it doesn't work


win2000
pentium 4 2.53ghz
128mb ram
geforce 4 ti4200 128mb

You could try using the 9.6 patch?

If not then update video drivers, motherboard drivers, sound drivers.

Sometimes if you click your mouse too fast in setup the game crashes, maybe that?

Furhermore only apply patch 9.6 to a clean GP4 install. That means uninstall Gp4, remove all traces iof it from the registry, and reinstall it. Start Gp4 and exit the game again immediately. Now apply the patch 9.6 according to its read-me (unzip files to a temp directory and run setup.exe from there).

For me ít also helps to restart Windows before playing the game.
